Jon’s work revolves around visual storytelling and exploring the nuances of interpersonal connection. He regularly lenses films across New York, Los Angeles and Asia, screening at over 100 respected film festivals across the world, including Cannes, Sundance and Tribeca Film Festival.

A graduate of the American Film Institute Conservatory, his thesis film, 'Fata Morgana', premiered at the world renowned Clermont Ferrand Film Festival and went on to win Best Short Film at the 31st Golden Rooster Awards, China's equivalent of the Oscars.

Some of his latest feature films include ‘Revenge of the Pontianak’, a period horror directed by acclaimed Singaporean director Glen Goei, as well as ‘Burn’, a dark thriller starring Josh Hutcherson and Suki Waterhouse. Most recently, he shot the indie feature ‘Before You Know It’, which premiered in the U.S. Dramatic Competition at Sundance Film Festival 2019.
